Energopiast completed a delivery of three sets of acoustic enclosures for compressing aggregates for a gas mine in Republic of Uzbekistan.

Acoustic enclosures

 Generator enclosure – the exemplary sound absorbing and insulating enclosure of self-bearing framework includes the generator with a brush holder. The longitudinal, gable walls and the ceiling are made of sound absorbing and insulating panels. The ceiling segments are equipped with mounting screws with a handle which enables their removal with a crane. Moreover, the supporting structure enables the modular assembly and disassembly of a part of the enclosure (longitudinal or gable wall). The enclosure is equipped with doors and glazing. The mechanical ventilation of the enclosure is conducted via inlet and outlet silencers with 100% of protection in the event of fans’ failure. The fans are triggered automatically with the use of temperature sensors and controls. The typical and emergency lights are located inside the enclosure. The electrical installation is of quick coupling type. The acoustic efficiency of the exemplary enclosure amounts to 20 dB(A).

 

Turbine enclosure– the exemplary acoustic enclosure of the NP part of the turbine unit 18 K370 includes the jacket on a cylindrical part, sound absorbing and insulating segments for a cylindrical part and sound absorbing and insulating segments for sides and bearings. The jacket was designed and manufactured in the form of a durable acoustic shield which is permanently linked to the cylindrical part of the turbine. The enclosure is equipped with stairs and platforms providing a free access for service personnel to the zone of hatches of safety valves. Two side segments are equipped with doors providing an access to thermocouples and endoscopic openings. The mechanical ventilation of the enclosure is adapted to hydrogen zone. The enclosure includes also vibroisolators. The acoustic efficiency of the exemplary enclosure amounts to 33 dB(A).

 

 

Enclosure of compressing aggregate – the exemplary acoustic enclosure of the aggregate is a twisted construction made of sound absorbing and insulating elements mounted to the supporting structure. The enclosure consists of two parts: one of them contains the engine and the compressor (aggregate chamber) and the second one the cooling fan (cooler chamber). The aggregate chamber is equipped with mechanical ventilation together with acoustic silencers, dampers controlled by actuators, filters and weather curtains. The unit serves as an adequate heat spreader and an enclosure fan. The enclosure is equipped with the air inlet unit for the engine and the fumes extraction unit. In order to reduce the noise level emitted through the gas cooler the chamber is equipped with the inlet and outlet silencer of adequately selected air flow resistance. Control and Measurements Instruments and Automation were located in a separate room to provide the protection from the atmospheric impact. The enclosure together with all equipments was designed according to ATEX standard. The average insulation of the enclosure amounts to 45 dB(A).

Enclosure of transformer coolers - the exemplary acoustic enclosure of the transformer coolers TB4 is made of sound absorbing and insulating segments mounted to the supporting structure. The enclosure structure was mounted with the use of existing poles foundation and strip footings of transformers rails. The acoustic enclosure comprises the transformer coolers with fans providing them with separate outlet chambers. The air escapes from the enclosure to the sides via the unit of plate silencers and with the use of two exhaust fans mounted in the upper plate of the chamber. The ventilation unit of the enclosure composes of inlet openings protected with acoustic plates and fans mounted to the upper plate of the enclosure and protected with silencers. In the front wall, the enclosure is equipped with a glazed door which allows the observation and provides an access to the fans of transformers coolers, whereas the flap eyeholes allowing an access to the drain valves are located in the internal wall. At the rear of the enclosure there is also a silencing chamber composing of two walls. One of them is an existing firewall partly covered with the sound absorbing panels and the second one a wall of the enclosure. The construction of the enclosure is demountable and enables repairs and service of the coolers and the transformer. The enclosure allowed to reduce the noise emitted from the transformer cooler up to 18 dB(A).

 Shield made of sound insulation foil – shields are made in the form of supporting structures with stripes attached to them made of sound insulation foil. Roofing of the shields is made of sound absorbing and insulating segments. The shields equipped with mechanical ventilation are used when the required reduction of noise emission is enough low and when an access to the shielded equipment is required from all sides. The acoustic insulation for these shields is about 10dB/A.

 

 Enclosures of technological lines – according to individual needs we use anti-noise solutions for technological lines of complex shapes. The choice of protection depends on the required reduction of noise level to the allowable values.
